We're a European company on a mission to return data ownership to individuals in a world dominated by surveillance capitalism.
The digital world has become dominated by unlimited surveillance from three fronts: big tech companies monetizing your data, criminals exploiting security vulnerabilities, and governments conducting mass surveillance.
Your personal data, passwords, photos, documents, and online activity are constantly tracked, collected, and analyzed. Most "free" services aren't free—you pay with your privacy and autonomy.
We believe you should own your data again. Not just in theory, but in practice. That's why we built Nodus from the ground up with principles that put you first.
Your data lives on your device by default, not in our cloud. You maintain the original copy. The app works fully offline without requiring internet access or account authentication.
When you do use cloud features (like team sharing), your data is encrypted on your device before it leaves. We can't read your data even if we wanted to. You hold the only keys.
We don't track what you do in the app. No analytics, no telemetry, no "anonymous usage data." Your behavior is your business, not ours.
Security through transparency. Our architecture is documented, our encryption methods are standard (not proprietary), and our claims can be independently verified.
As a European company, we're subject to GDPR—some of the strongest privacy laws in the world. But we go further than compliance. We believe privacy is a fundamental human right, not a luxury feature.
We operate under European jurisdiction where data protection is taken seriously, not treated as an afterthought or marketing checkbox.
Our Commitment:
We will never compromise your privacy for profit. We will never sell your data. We will never use dark patterns to trick you into giving up your rights. Your trust is worth more than any surveillance business model.
Take back control of your data. Start using tools that work for you, not against you.
